Three generations of Russian women experience the pleasure and pain of love in the mini-series Women in a Game Without Rules (2004). In this case, the "game without rules" isn't 52-card pickup, it's the game being played by Maria (Olga Ostroumova), her daughter Elena (Ekaterina Nikitina), and her granddaughter Alki (Oksana Akinshina) as they search for true love.
