What About Joan

Quirky comedic actress Joan Cusack has ridden little brother John’s gravy train by co-starring in more than a few of his movies. However, big sis Cusack has also proven herself flying solo in a slew of other projects, from a small but memorable role in John Hughes' Sixteen Candles to leading roles in films such as My Blue Heaven and In & Out. In What About Joan, she stars as Joan Gallagher, a high school teacher who depends on the daily support of her two best friends, Ruby (Donna Murphy), a psychiatrist, and Betsy (Jessica Hecht), a music teacher. Joan also bonds with Alice Adams (Kellie Shanygne Williams), who is a new student teacher at the school. The show also explored the budding relationship between Joan and potential boyfriend Jake (Kyle Chandler). Though Joan has given us some great supporting roles over the years, she’s not really cut out for the center spot. It didn’t help matters that the show was mostly panned as unfunny and poorly written, and Joan was expelled after season one. What about Joan? Well, in the film Men Don’t Leave she nearly didn’t leave her clothes on. While she is not the traditional looker, she makes up for it with her sense of humor, and she really ain’t half bad on the eyes. Besides, who are we to turn our noses up at John Cusack’s sister! Her co-star Jessica Hecht, a cute and curly-haired brunette, gave us an assload of glorious full frontal in Chaos TV, where she did nude aerobics led by hot Asian mama Tamayo Otsuki. Is the movie any good? Who gives a shit! These two babes are naked in it! A lot! All you have to do is keep your eyes away from the man meat that is also prominently displayed.
