Wendy and Me

No Nudity

Review

This short-lived 1964 sitcom starred the late comedy icon George Burns, who not only has played God but has met Him and is also older than Him. Wendy and Me featured Burns as an apartment building owner in sunny Southern California. He employs Mr. Bundy as the building superintendent (not the guy from Married…With Children). Married couple Jeff and Wendy Conway are two of George’s tenants. Jeff is an airline pilot and Wendy is a ditzy housewife. Jeff's co-pilot, Danny Adams, is a single young stud who is proud of his womanizing and his “little black book.” While hubby Jeff is away, George follows Wendy around all day, commenting on her activities and offering the occasional bit of advice or insight. We’re not sure if he was really just trying to get into her panties or not, but since this guy’s also probably had more tail than God, we wouldn’t rule it out. Wendy was played by living Barbie doll Connie Stevens, who briefly teased us with her respectable milk totes in Scorchy. She also lounged around in various states of semi-dress in The Grissom Gang. While she started looking a bit long in the tooth in later years, she was a prime piece of ass back in the Drive-In days and was still no slouch during her 1970’s nude scenes.
