Vous habitez chez vos parents? (1983)

Andre Martell (Michel Galabru)’s family troubles seem to be the result of a an active game of MadLibs: his daughter is an aspiring but failing actress, his job in the footwear industry is frustrating, and his stepmother bugs the family home with microphones and uses the information she gathers to write a family tell-all book, which captures the interest of the local tax man. It all makes sense in the French film Vous habitez chez vos parents? (1983), which translates to, “Do you live with your parents?” The parents might be in the room, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a little bit of naughty business in this flick. While taking a bath in milk, a second party dumps in some coffee, turning a naked Grace De Capitani into a tasty morning treat (trust us, this happens), and a topless Isabelle Mergault primps in the bathroom in another scene. Family reunions would be a lot more fun if they were like this.
