A rich doctor's mistress (Lubna Azabal), her mother, a former cabaret star (Biyouna), and her best friend Fifi (Nadia Kaci), a prostitute, all try to maintain their independence against a backdrop of Islamic fundamentalism and modernity in the Algerian drama Viva Laldjérie (2004). Nadia and Lubna both go fully frontal and that will make you forget all about the fact that we don't see any Alg-rear-ia.
