Valerie and Her Week of Wonders (1970)

There’s nothing like Valerie and Her Week of Wonders (1970) to inspire Mr. Skin and His Week of Whacking Off! Also known as Valerie a týden divů, this Czechoslovak flick is based on Vítězslav Nezval’s same-named novel from 1935. Even though the comely cast speaks Czech, the flesh flashed won’t be lost in translation. In fact, it goes without saying that we love us some foreign tongues! Set in a Medieval world, director and co-screenwriter Jaromil Jires blends fantasy, gothic horror, and nudity to convey a surreal fairy tale that falls into Czechoslovakia’s skinematic New Wave movement. The story starts when a sleeping beauty named Valerie (Jaroslava Schallerová) wakes up to find her mother’s earrings have been stolen. She then finds herself on a sexually-awakening journey to lose her virginity amid a priest, a constable, and a vampire! As such, the gorgeous ingénue bares her breast after having sex with an eerie guy. The coming-of-age creep-fest also includes Alena Stojáková, Eva Olmerová, and Helena Anýžová’s fine figure. While playing several parts, the topless performer exposes her pretty pair! As the ravishing redhead writhes around to seduce a dude, she shows off her white panties, black stockings and nude boobs before biting him on the neck. Suffice it to say, Ms. Anýžová puts the vamp into vampire! No wonder this dead-sexy movie made it into the book “101 Horror Films You Must See Before You Die” (2016). More boner-inducing than bone chilling, the supernatural pic will likely elevate the creature in your jeans!
