Two Moon Junction (1988)

Before directing the erotic dramas Wild Orchid (1990), Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue (1991) and Red Shoe Diaries (1992), Zalman King really boiled his pots in the steamy Southern Gothic tale Two Moon Junction (1988). Sherilyn Fenn stars as April DeLongpre, a Senator’s daughter who is engaged to the respectable, albeit dull, Chad Douglas Fairchild (Martin Hewitt). But things go awry when she goes to the local carnival and meets randy roustabout Perry Tyson (Richard Tyson). Hot animal lust abounds, but a carnie like Tyson is obviously from the wrong side of the tracks and it doesn’t take long before Sheriff Earl Hawkins (Burl Ives) is brought in to break up the love-fest. Luckily, he can’t stop some sizzling nude scenes from Ms. Fenn! Indeed, we get to see the her nude boobs just 22 minutes into the movie. If that’s not arousing enough, Sherilyn later sheds her threads and blindfolds herself for some magnificent full frontal action. When the naked babe bares her breasts, bush and butt, she proves she’s not a real blonde. Talk about adding thrills to this thriller! In yet another scene, the skintastic actress reveals her rack while chatting with a topless Kristy McNichol. In addition to exposing her Little Darlings, Kristy plays a butch truck driver. We always knew Family’s Letitia “Buddy” Lawrence was gay! For her dyke-namic portrayal of trucker Patti Jean, Ms. McNichol won a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actress. Coincidentally, Mr. Skin has a Golden Banana for Ms. Fenn!
