3 dni bez wyroku (1991)

Distributed internationally as Three Days without Conviction, the Polish film Trzy dni bez wyroku (1991) is a moody arthouse drama by filmmaker Wojciech Wójcik. Robert Gonera stars as Bart, an incarcerated felon who’s given a surprise furlough by the parole board. With three days to enjoy himself in the free world before the doors are slammed on him again, Bart does what any self-respecting male would do––he chases skirt. Lucyna Zabawa is the lucky lady who catches Bart’s eye, and before long the pair is blindfolded and rubbing ice cubes across each other’s nipples (isn’t it a little cold for that in Poland?).
