Tower of Evil (1972)

Archeologists, particularly those of stiff-lipped British descent, are an intrepid lot, unlikely to be daunted by trying circumstances that would send lesser social scientists howling for the solace of modern-day security. The English intellectuals who sign on to investigate relics of antiquity uncovered at the base of a spooky, fog-shrouded lighthouse in Tower of Evil (1972) step across the severed limbs of serially slaughtered American teenagers in order to further their understanding of bygone civilizations.
