A slinky tower of ebony perfection, Somalian supermodel Iman often appeared in the society pages as Mrs. David Bowie until Ziggy Stardust went ashes to ashes in 2016. But she just as often appears in the dreams of smitten skinsters as a dark-skinned sexual seraphim, the closest we will get in this life to cavorting with the girls of paradise. Born in Mogadishu to a diplomat and a doctor, Iman was discovered at college and very quickly found herself on the covers of the most prestigious magazines. Since we're more concerned with seeing under her covers, our attention wandered to the possibility that she'd unrobed onscreen. Making her film debut with an uncredited role in The Wiz (1978) Iman eased on down to roles in big movies like Out of Africa (1985), L.A. Story (1991), Heart of Darkness (1994) and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991). While she never did any nudity, for the most complete view of celestial and sensual Iman, meditate upon her otherworldly orbs rounding out a red corset-and-pantie combination in Exit to Eden (1994) as we see Iman as a long and lean dominatrix about to paddle some lucky submissive. Dying would be easy if you could be sure Iman was on the other side. While she'd been in episodes of hit shows like The Cosby Show and Miami Vice, after a role in The Deli (1997) Iman has only been appearing as herself in a wide variety of talk shows. It's a shame, because oh man did we want to see Iman naked.
