Biography

Russia-born Anna Semenovich is a retired ice dancer, a singer, actress, and a model. One of those things is not like the other, but two of her things are so big it makes it hard to concentrate on anything else. After competing on the ice, she moved to the even cooler field of singing, and was a member of Russia’s first and most enduring all-girl group, Blestyashchiye, from 2003-2007. The blonde-haired, busty beauty landed her first big-screen role as an uncredited character in the film Night Watch (2004), and followed it up with pop-ups in various Russian television series. In 2008, she starred as Radistka Zina in Gitler kaput! (2008), a Russian WWII spy comedy spoof—in what may be one of the sexiest non-nude performance ever shown in a Russian theatre. In almost every outfit the wardrobe department had the good sense to put her in—from a bikini halter top to a leopard-print slip with tiny straps, from a low-cut polka-dot dress to an actual lacy bra—Anna is positively busting out of it, her rack too sensational to be confined by mere fabric. (It truly begs the question: How did she balance on ice skates?) The mega-mighty Moscow native followed up her impressive performance with additional roles in comedy movie romps like Marina in Ukroshchenie stroptivykh (2009), or Taming of the Shrew (not the Shakespeare version); as Anna in Klub schastaya (2010); as Ostrozhskaya in Rzhevskiy protiv Napoleona and Ulyana in Bolshaya rzhaka, both in 2012; Polar Flight (2013); and Love and Monsters (2020). She switched in up in 2022 with the action-adventure flick The Rose in the Flame. Good thing, too, right? Because that Anna and her assets—they are no laughing matter.
