Top of the Pops

On the air since January 1, 1964, when the top single was The Beatles’s “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” the UK’s pop-chart countdown show Top of the Pops has been the venue for many a hot babe to strut her (regrettably non-nude) stuff. Among the pop tarts featured on the venerable show are Aussie soap star Delta Goodrem, American R&B chanteuse Mary J. Blige, Scottish TV hostess Gail Porter, and disco diva from down under Kylie Minogue. Maybe we could see a little skin if they changed the name of the show to “Pop off Your Tops!”
