Spanish director Amando de Ossorio's famed spin on the zombie genre that would lead to all sorts of sequels, remakes, and badass metal toons, Tombs of the Blind Dead (1972) brought a religious twist to its spooky tale. Back in the medieval days, a batty band of Knights Templar took to guzzling blood and sacrificing saps in their quest to live forever. They chose, poorly. Executed for their wild ways, the knights ended up dumped in a field where crows picked out their eyes (hope they can protect the grail AND read brail) nature took its course, and somewhere along the way they turned into zombies. Flash to 1970's Portugal, where Roger (Cesar Burner) and his girl Virginia (Maria Elena Arpon), are visiting their mannequin creating college buddy Betty (Lone Fleming). Betty and Rog get a little too close, so Virginia decides to do the classic angry girlfriend move where you walk off into the middle of nowhere and make everyone find her. That's a bad idea, since she happens to end up in the tomb where our blind dead live. She's attacked, so it's up to Roger and Betty to track her down, and ultimately pump some lead into the blind dead. The film kicks off with our Knights Templar sacrificing Britt Nichols, and since they're already murdering her, they figure why not get their money's worth and sneak a peek at Britt's tits? They chop off her clothes, and it's not hard to see Miss Nichols' mams are worth every penny. They should've done a little in the tomb boom-boom, first! She's not the lone hottie flashing skin, though. Lone Fleming gets her funbags felt up by a fella, and Maria Elena Arpon shows her ass as she heats that rump in front of the fire. You'd have to be blind not to want those ladies in your bed after watching Tombs of the Blind Dead
