The Way Way Back (2013)

A 14-year-old bonds with the owner of a waterpark on vacation with his parents in The Way, Way Back (2013). Gawky Duncan (Liam James) is stuck spending the summer with his frazzled mom (Toni Collette) and her total jerk of a boyfriend (Steve Carell) at their beach house. Luckily not only does local waterpark operator Owen (Sam Rockwell) take a shine to him, so does girl next door Susanna (Annasophia Robb). That's a recipe for a coming-of-age flick all right, but although Annasophia, Alison Janney, Amanda Peet and Zoe Levin all look good in their bikini tops, sadly age is the only thing that's coming in this flick. The Way, Way Back will leave you way, way blue.
