The Waterdance (1992)

The Waterdance (1992) will make a splash in your pants! This semi-autobiographical story centers around writer Joel Garcia (Eric Stoltz) who becomes a paraplegic after enduring a hiking accident. While struggling through rehabilitation, his buddies roll him into a topless bar. There, he (and we) get to see the be-thonged buns and plastic fantastics on a brunette stripper (Jennifer Ryan). The same can be said for her blonde co-worker (Adriana Barbor). Meanwhile, pole dancer Annabelle Lee (Barbara Alyn Woods) struts her stuff in sexy lingerie. In other words, the drama proves that just because a guy can’t use his two legs, doesn’t mean he won’t go to a strip club and try out his third leg! Ironically, Garcia gets more action at home with Anna (Helen Hunt), the married woman he was having an affair with before he had his accident. The story includes Raymond Hill (Wesley Snipes), Bloss (William Forsythe), Lee (William Allen Young), Rosa (Elizabeth Peña), Pat (Grace Zabriskie), Victor (Tony Genaro), Doctor Harrison (Thomas F. Duffy), and Anna’s fab flesh! When she climbs into the sack with Garcia, Ms. Hunt shows off her bare back, rack and crack!  No wonder the film received the Audience Award for Best Dramatic Feature at the Sundance Film Festival and was named Best First Feature and Best Screenplay (Neal Jimenez) at the Independent Spirit Awards. In fact, Mr. Skin has a statuette in his pants for the naked ladies in this pic. Thanks to their skintastic performances, your water hose will be dancing!
