Brought to life from a screenplay by acclaimed caper/suspense/crime novelist Donald E. Westlake and based on an actual serial killer who killed his family before becoming someone new, The Stepfather (1987) is a scary, dramatically tense tale of a man who pretends to be something he is not—mainly sane and non-homicidal. Every teenage girl, especially the athletically trim brunette ones with the sensually angelic faces and ripe to bursting swellings of flesh fruit, has reason to worry when her single mother takes up with and marries a new man. But Stephanie Maine (Jill Schoelen) has a good reason to be scared. Her mom (Shelley Hack) has been hooking up with Jerry Blake (future LOST star Terry O'Quinn), a kindly real estate agent who got really weird when he saw a newspaper article about a fugitive who killed his family before fleeing the scene. She gets even more suspicious when her shrink (Charles Lanyer) ends up dead after he goes poking around Jerry's background, too. With a member of the first family named Jim (Stephen Shellen) hot on Jerry's trail, is Stephanie going to find the truth before the stepdad kills her and her mom? Or is Jerry going to kill them both, step out, and find himself a new family? Every horror movie needs a hottie to step up and declare that they'll show their pair, and in this one that was Jill Schoelen. Miss Schoelen will get you swollen when she gives us a nice towel drop before hopping in the shower, in a scene that lets you see buns and sideboob. Then, we'll get an even better look at her phenomenal funbags as she lathers them with some soap. We wish a ton of that movie was her taking that shower, step by step, in The Stepfather!
