The New Barbarians (1983)

The New Barbarians (1983) is one of those Italian Mad Max rip-offs that has been known by about a dozen different titles in the U.S. like Warriors of the Wasteland or the even more convoluted The New Barbarians: Warriors of the Wasteland. The film stars Blaxploitation legend Fred Williamson and Italian journeyman character actor Giancarlo Prete—appearing here under the Anglicized name Timothy Brent—as two wandering mercenaries who get mixed up in a battle between nomadic good guys and an evil motorcycle gang in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Thankfully this flick also speaks the universal language of skin, featuring a terrific topless scene from the gorgeous Anna Kanakis, whose right breast is exposed when she visits the doctor! There's also a nice look at Iris Peynado in a transparent futuristic bikini top that only covers her nipples! These barbarians will have you grabbing more than your sword!
