The Nature of Love (2023)

This well-reviewed French-language romance stars Magalie Lépine Blondeau as Sophia, a philosophy professor at a Canadian university whose ten-year relationship with the wealthy Xavier (Francis-William Rhéame) seems to have lost its spark. The couple decides to renovate their chateau in the country and in walks Sylvain (Pierre-Yves Cardinal), the charming and rugged contractor who sweeps Sophia off her feet and into a passionate affair. Though she knows it’s irrational, she eventually leaves Xavier and tries to make a casual go of it with Sylvain, but then the red flags start to appear, and even with her impressive intellect Sophia finds herself doubting what she knows about love and her own moral compass. Despite Magalie’s many steamy sex scenes, including a BDSM-esque one involving a collar and leash plus an impromptu dalliance with a grocery store clerk, the most boobage we see is actually from the film’s writer and director Monia Chokri, who has a scene in a dressing room with Magalie. When Monia takes off her top, she’s wearing a see-through bra where you can see the nature of her nips! That’ll please your oui oui!
