The Naked Gun (1988)

The makers of Airlplane! (1980) bring their slapstick style to a spoof of the cop genre in The Naked Gun (1988). Adapted from their short lived but beloved show Police Squad!, the film follows incompetent cop Lt. Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen), who somehow manages to “always get his man”, despite his bumbling and inept methods. But after punching out all of America's most 1980's enemies, he comes home to find that his partner Detective Nordberg (O.J. Simpson) was nearly killed as retribution. While he’s investigating the attempted murder of his partner, he uncovers a plot to assassinate the Queen of England! Frank suspects that unscrupulous businessman Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban) is behind the scheme, but he must find the proof before the final showdown at a California Angels baseball game. Odds are, you've seen clips of that wild ending featuring Frank disguising himself as an MLB umpire, and a hilarious performance by Mr. October himself, Reggie Jackson. But while there are all sorts of great gags, there's also some great looks at top notch funbags! The best nudity in this PG-13 flick comes in the opening sequence, when Brinke Stevens briefly bares her butt and a little bit of bush in the women's locker room as a cop car bursts in and sends all sorts of undressed women fleeing. Does real cop work have this much naked fun? Meanwhile, Lorali Hart also provides her colossal cleavage to be grabbed by Leslie Nielsen as he gropes his way across a window ledge. We'd risk falling to our deaths for a squeeze of Miss Hart's hard-on inducing hooters! That bursting bra is enough to get you gripping your Naked Gun!
