The Morning After (1986)

Even in the days before the AIDS virus cast a pall over the whole swingles scene, casual sex was not without its hazards. There were always the unsavory possibilities that a one-night bout of recreational humping might result in a lasting case of herpes, crabs, or falling in love. Even more daunting is the predicament of part-time slut Jane Fonda in The Morning After (1986). Not only does Jane greet the day with a wincing hangover, but she has awakened in a stranger’s bed with no memory of her inebriated arrival there. Oh, and there’s one other daunting detail. The guy sharing the sheets with her has croaked, and Jane can’t be sure she’s not the raging boozer who stabbed him to death.
