The Man Who Loved Women (1977) is a French take on the memoirs of Don Juan, but without all the nudity and sex, which begs the question: what the fuck? Who would be mad enough to take on such a mindless challenge? Well, famous French director Francois Truffaut, that’s who. Lodge you complaints with him, not us. The movie stars Charles Denner, a quiet engineer by day and a Don Juan by night. But he’s not just and in-and-out man, but caring and understanding. Maybe a bit too much if he’s not sharing his bountiful boot with us! Look, this is a French movie, so there’s going to be some skin. We get to see the bosoms of Valerie Bonnier, but it’s a distant shot and out of focus. There’s another actress who shares her breasts more freely, but this almost counts as a G-rated movie by France’s standards. G-rated wouldn't be the word for the effortlessly hot Marilu Henner's scene at the 18-minute mark. Marilu shows her matching headlights when lying in bed with Burt Reynolds, then shows them again with some upper butt-crack and a glimpse of bush as she gets out of bed! The Man Who Loved Women doesn't quite get to the point where most of the females on camera are showing off their bush in their entirety, but there's certainly enough masturbation fuel in this flick to get off at least a few times. Turn on this movie for the story and stay for the flesh!
