The John Forsythe Show

No Nudity

Review

The John Forsythe Show was a rather short-lived comedy series starring--surprise, surprise--John Forsythe who is probably best known as the voice of “Charlie Townsend” in Charlie’s Angels. The story went as follows: when the retired US Air Force Major John Foster (Forsythe) inherits an exclusive San Francisco school for girls named the “Foster School” he doesn’t know what to do with it. Thus he asks his former Air Force buddy Ed Robbins (Guy Marks) for help. Robbins instantly agrees to help Foster and the principal Miss Culver (Elsa Lanchester) run the school. The unlikely relationship between the two ex-soldiers and the headstrong teacher causes many arguments. As far as nudity is concerned, for a slightly more skinful look at supporting actress Peggy Lipton, check her out in 2000’s Skipped Parts where she wears a somewhat nipple-revealing pink dress. One thing’s for sure: Peg still is a stunner!
