The Holy Family (2023)

Janja (Luna Pilić) comes to the Croatian region of Slavonia in the 1960s from Bosnia to work the harvest. While there, she impresses the village’s wealthiest landowner Marko (Nikola Đuričko) with her hard work and honesty so much that he arranges for her to marry his son Iva (Ivan Čuić), much to the chagrin of the uber-religious Ana (Anita Matić Delić), Marko’s wife and Iva’s mother. Iva’s not happy about this either, choosing to spend his days drinking and hunting rather than with his new wife. Janja even tries to appeal to him with some nudity, but it just angers him more, and eventually, the family’s shameful secrets are revealed. Also revealed - Luna’s breasts and bush after furiously scrubbing her bare body. Holy moly, what a great nude debut!
