There are plenty of unspoken rules in Hollywood when it comes to sequels and one of the big ones is, "you need to up the stakes for all the characters!" The rules for follow-ups to mega-hits like 2009's The Hangover definitely aren't any different and The Hangover Part II (2011) steps up the stakes to epic levels. You think Las Vegas is wild??? Try Bangkok, Thailand where the rules are basically "don't murder someone, period" and a good portion of the economy runs on ping-pong balls that are often times launched out of an orifice. So the return of Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) & Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and what was planned as a "calm" bachelor party the night before Stu's wedding was bound to spiral out of control. When the trio wake up again in a haze as to what happened the night before, they are again forced to play blind, hungover sleuth to help find Stu's future brother in law before they all have to walk down the aisle for Stu and Lauren's (Jamie Chung) nuptials. This time though, Alan wakes up with a shaved head, Stu has a giant face tattoo, and there is a monkey with a severed finger wandering around the dingy apartment they find themselves in after a night of debauchery. The "wolf-pack" is now tasked with retracing their steps through the back alleys of Bangkok, finding out bits and pieces of a night that they don't want ANYONE to ever find out about! That includes a very naked rendezvous with the busty and thick booty'd (among other thick things she has!) Yasmin Lee, who apparently had a lovely night with Stu the night before!
