Review

Slim Grissom runs a pack of amateur criminals during the depression era, although Grissom’s mother is the real brains behind their operations. Everyone in the crew, including Slim himself, comes across as bumbling idiots. They decide to kidnap a wealthy heiress named Barbara Blandish. In a case of reverse Stockholm Syndrome, Slim winds up falling in love with Barbara. She uses this to her advantage and strings Slim along in order to find a means of escaping from the situation. The Grissom Gang (1971) is a remake of a British film, and in the original, it was the victim who wound up falling in love with the captor.

Connie Stevens plays Anna Borg. The only sexiness to speak of in the film is a minor bit of cleavage from this blonde, and a little bit of back exposure. She’s frequently found in nightgowns, but they’re all very old-fashioned. The chance of catching some outstanding nudity is Slim to none.
