It's a very familiar scene on the nightly news these days: An until-now upstanding politician of supposedly good manners stands in front of a podium and admits that he used his powers for evil, not good. That evil, of course, being the plundering of womenfolk, womenfolk who are usually younger, hotter, and less uptight than their stuffy wives. But on the CBS series The Good Wife, the spouse in question is Julianna Margulies, so the politician's motive for cheating becomes rather foggy.
