The Garry Moore Show

No Nudity

Review

An early TV project of well-admired writer Neil Simon that was hosted by Garry Moore (obviously), this 1958 “second try” of an earlier family comedy series hit a nice stride and finished up with nine full seasons under its belt before being retired. Though of course you’re not going to find much of anything skinful in a 1958 series created for family chuckles, this version of The Garry Moore Show is noteworthy in that it was one of the first projects of Skin Central favorite Carol Burnett. Oh sure, television staple Dorothy Loudon and Bewitched’s own Marion Lorne were funny ladies in their own right, but c’mon, they’re not exactly Carol Burnetts now, are they?
