The Feather and Father Gang

Put The Sting and Mission: Impossible in a room with some Barry White music and a faulty condom and nine months later one of them will give birth to The Feather and Father Gang. Despite its complex title and concept, this was far from a complex show. Toni "Feather" Danton (Stefanie Powers), a gorgeous Los Angeles attorney, would enlist the help of her conman father (Harold Gould) each week to help investigate crimes, attempting to convince the bad guys to give themselves up using disguises, schemes, and trickery. The two would frequently turn to Harry's old partners (Monte Landis, Lewis Charles, Joan Shawlee, and Frank Delfino) for assistance, and the good guys always won. Big shock. Based on a TV movie called Never Con A Killer, the show fell victim to the writers not being half as smart as they thought they were.
