The Dawns Here Are Quiet (2015)

The Dawns Here Are Quiet (2015) is the Skin-tastic remake of the very well regarded 1972 Soviet war film of the same name, itself an adaption of Boris Vasilyev's bestselling novel. Fedot Vaskov (Pyotr Fyodorov) whines that his soldiers are drunks who spend their time chasing tail instead of taking their anti-aircraft gig seriously, since they're so far from any real action. After complaining about it, he gets a replacement team of all female soldiers. While he's not happy about it at first and is convinced the higher ups are doing it to mock him, eventfully he realizes these sexy ladies are great soldiers. They'd better be, because it's not long before some German paratroopers drop in all around them, and Vaskov and his Russian dolls have to fend off an attacked by battle hardened soldiers. The odds are stacked against our stacked Soviets, but rather than dwell on their tragic fates, let's rejoice in the fact that director Renat Davetyarov has graced us with a generous sauna scene that features all the actresses engaging in some very naked horseplay. The delectable Sofya Lebedeva along with the director's real life hottie wife Evgeniya Malakhova get the gold star for their full frontal and rear displays, while Aniya Kuznetsova and Kristina Asmus flash boobs and bush. These anti-aircraft girls have some bombs! Ekaterina Vilkova, who could be Uma Thurman's Russian doppelgänger, opts for just T, no A, in the same scene. This, accompanied by a brief pan of the girls standing naked under a waterfall, will really make you and history come alive! If we knew Russian girls looked like this, we'd have needed cold showers not The Cold War! War is Hell, but also hot as Hell thanks to the ladies of The Dawns Here Are Quiet!
