Review

The low-budget drive-in shriek-show The Curse of the Living Corpse (1964) takes place in 1892—specifically, one year after the demise of hoity-toity big-shot Rufus Sinclair. That’s when the Sinclair relatives converge on his fancy estate to collect their inheritance loot, as specified by Rufus’s will. They get more than they bargained for, (super)naturally, when their not-so-dearly departed kinsman returns from the grave and starts racking up souls to keep him company on the other side. When you’re not hiding your eyes in fright, be on the lookout for a flesh flash delivered by Margot Hartman.
