The Cosby Show (1984-1992)

Bill Cosby updated the classic Father Knows Best sitcom premise for the ’80s in his NBC smash The Cosby Show. Loud-sweater-wearing Dr. Cliff Huxtable (Cosby) and his wife Claire (Phylicia Rashad) oversaw a rambunctious brood of kids that, most notably for perv purposes, included non-conformist Denise, played by Lisa Bonet. At the height of Cosby’s popularity, Lisa leapt to big-screen scandal via sweaty, naked sex scenes in the 1987 thriller Angel Heart. It must have melted Cos’s Jello Pudding Pop, as immediately thereafter Lisa scored her own spin-off, A Different World.
