The Byrds of Paradise

Before we even get into the skinny on this show, there’s really only one thing you need to know. It featured a young Jennifer Love Hewitt. End of story. The year was 1994 and ABC gave a shot to a new drama about Sam Byrd (Timothy Busfield), a teacher who moves his family to Hawaii after his wife dies. Of course, the kids – Harry (Seth Green), Zeke (Ryan O’Donohue), and Franny (Hewitt) – have issues coming to terms with the new way of life. You know, because it’s sunny and there’s clean water and no muggings. How’s a kid supposed to live in surroundings like that? But before you get your VCRs out, you might want to think twice…JLH was a little young when she was in this series.
