For today's very specially Hooterween Throwback Thursday, we're going to look at one of my absolute favorite horror films: The Love Witch. Take a step barely back in time with this witchy, sex-filled horror that gives us colorful boobalicious scenes.
The Love Witch looks like a 1970s sexploitation flick, but it's actually a 2016 sendup of the era. It was lovingly directed by Anna Biller who previously brought us the swingin' sex flick Viva. Biller clearly knows her stuff when it comes to onscreen sex and The Love Witch is no exception. Biller even starred in her previous film, but this time she wanted to step behind the camera. Still, we're lucky to have nude Biller boobs from her first feature film.
This campy horror-comedy stars Samantha Robinson as the titular witch - named Elaine - who uses her sexual wiles to seduce men. However, once her potions and spells work she becomes bored with the guys. They slobber over her - and who wouldn't? I can't get herhypnotizing sex teases out of my mind!
When the witch becomes bored with the lovelorn men, she gets rid of them...through murder. How else? She's an evil witch, after all. The film takes a turn when one manrefuses to fall for her so easily. Will this change The Love Witch? Or will this drive her wild with desire? You have to see to find out.
