You may not have ever heard of Forbidden Zone and that's okay. It's definitely a cult film, but you'll soon be a fan of it due to its open display of breasts from its female actresses like Gisele Lindley, Susan Tyrrell, and Marie-Pascale Elfman who was director Richard Elfman's wife at the time. Yes, RichardElfman is composer Danny Elfman's brother. You know Danny. You've heard him in the opening credits of every Simpson's episode. Yes, that guy also composed this movie. Okay, moving on to the boobs!
The plot of this midnight movie is a journey into weirdness with the Hercules family who live in a weird house that has a basement portal into the Forbidden Zone. In the Forbidden Zone, there are naked slaves, an evilqueen, a topless princess, and even The Devil. The evilqueen is played by Susan Tyrrell who is basically busting out of her dress the entire film.
The topless princess we mentioned is played by Gisele Lindley who never wears a top. Never! May the devil bless this sexy princess. The Princesses of today could learn a lesson from her style choices.
The story behind this movie is also interesting. It was adapted from a popular Los Angeles cabaret act called The Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo which collectively became known just as the New Wave group Oingo Boingo. We can see why the zone is so forbidden: there's a lot of kinkyboobage to enjoy!
