Biography

With her fine features and fit frame, Talisa Soto has been called the Puerto Rican Grace Kelly. Perhaps that’s because Kelly became the real life Princess of Monaco and Talisa would become best known for her reel-life role of Princess Kitana in the Mortal Kombat movies (1995, 1997). Still, the Brooklyn babe is embarrassed by the comparison since she was once considered the ugly duckling in school. What school did Talisa go to? The school of hard knockers? Regardless of any early awkwardness, Ms. Soto soon grew into a swan. After graduation, she began modeling for magazines such as Mademoiselle and Glamour. Ms. Soto’s sultry stare caught the eye of Licence to Kill (1989) producers, who cast her as a cleavage touting Bond girl. Roles in the musical The Mambo Kings (1992) and the CBS Western Harts of the West (1993-1994) followed, as did a chance to slip a nip while riding Johnny Depp in the romantic comedy Don Juan DeMarco (1995). If that’s not hot enough, the exotic hottie lent her sexy presence to the direct-to-video superhero flick Vampirella (1996), wherein she wears a flesh flashing costume. Talisa then performed a kinky bondage scene as a leather-clad dominatrix in the crime film Flypaper (1997). In the R-rated drama Piñero (2001), the arousing ingénue dons a black lace brassiere with matching panties as she gives some lucky dude a lap dance. No wonder Talisa was nominated for an ALMA Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. After all, who wouldn’t support that action?
