During this week's Toronto International Film Festival, stars are promoting their films via press junkets and interviews that give us more access to the stars in the films. Yesterday, the cast of the film Eden were doing interviews and it was apparent that some of the stars had a little too much fun on set.
Sydney Sweeney and Ana De Armas are two of the hottest stars at the moment - and I do mean HOT. These two actresses are total sex kittens. The two of them ooze sexuality in different ways. Ron Howard directs this surprisingly dark new film based on a true story about a small group of people who move to the Galapagos to start a new society, but chaos and danger follow them. The plot follows a German doctor played by Jude Law who is tired of the apparent government change coming to Germany in the 1930s. He and his wife move to the Galapagos Island of Floreana, an uninhabited island, where they intend to form a progressive society with another German couple that follows them.
Everything is going okay until Ana De Armas arrives! She plays the over-the-top Baroness Eloise who travels to the island with her three manservants who may also be her lovers. She's that kind of wealthy woman! Her arrival on the island changes everything and makes this mini-society one of tension, sex, mystery, and MURDER. Did I mention that this is a true story? This is based on a wild true story!
Eden is a shock to fans of Ron Howard because the material is so dark and salacious. It was allegedly a rough set! They shot in Australia and the elements were unpredictable, but during the press tour the girls told Howard that it was fun. During their interview, the girls joke around with Howard that they enjoy a bit of pain. The third actress in the film, Vanessa Kirby, did not join in on the flirtatious fun.
Sydney and Ana were both ecstatic to talk about the film. It sounds like they had a great time together and it sounds to me like the two are going to be scantily clad on this island together. I can't wait to watch it because it seems highly likely that they will go nude!
