Everybody’s in love with everybody else in Stolen Kisses (1969), a classic comedy from director François Truffaut. Lucky Jean-Pierre Léaud has just been kicked out of the army, and he’s thrilled to return to his great love Claude Jade. Too bad that her parents like him a lot more than she does. Jean-Pierre then stumbles into a job at a detective agency, where he becomes obsessed with Delphine Seyrig. She’s ignoring her lovestruck husband, while Claude suddenly develops an interest in Jean-Pierre. Meanwhile, every guy in the audience wants to nail every gorgeous gal in the cast, including Martine Brochard as a beauty adored by two flower-crazy Frenchmen.
