The sexy Sophia Loren is being honored this month at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. Her films are being honored and for good reason: the sizzling-hot Italian actress has been working in front of the camera for almost 75 years. 75 years! She is one of the last living starlets who thrived in the Golden Age of Hollywood, so Deadline interviewed her about her work. The best part? She says that she will never retire.
She told them that she had never had a plan B. That is why her career has lasted for so long. She has persevered and continued acting because she does not believe in a backup plan. She only believes in working and working hard! She says she doesn't think about the big picture. She doesn't think about her "legacy". She only thinks: what is my next movie? That's why she keeps going.
Also, can we just say: that she still looks good? She is super sexy!
She went nude early in her career as a working actress in Italian cinema in the 50s and 60s. After she started keeping her bra on, she kept letting us see the action!

I am not naïve, I am aware of the fact that some people respond to me in such a way but I’ve never given it much thought. What I have given much thought to has always been being true to my craft and being part of stories that can move and inspire people, and in that respect, Hollywood has always been a great source of inspiration for me. The craft and pursuit of excellence is the currency of the people in this city. It is both aspirational and inspirational."
Even if she doesn't think she is a sex symbol, she certainly is one. She is one of the sexiest actresses to ever live with a body that is simply heavenly. What a global sensation!
