Every so often a nude scene gets paired with a song that, for better or worse, ends up making it that much more memorable, and this week, we’re paying tribute to legendary composer and producer Quincy Jones, who passed away yesterday November 3rd at age 91 by showcasing all the memorable nude scenes he wrote music for during his lengthy career.
Quincy Jones was most active as a film composer during the 60s and 70s, though he did return briefly to the medium in 1985 for The Color Purple and once more earlier this year for Nicola Peltz Beckham’s drama Lola. His contributions to cinema are numerous, so to keep this tight we’re focusing on the nude scenes with musical underscores and leaving out the ones from movies he worked on where the nudity is sans music, such as The Pawnbroker (1965) and Bob Carol Ted Alice (1969), as well as In The Heat of the Night (1967), which we have pics for but no video. This 1969 Western features underwater fanny (and brief nip) from the golden age of Hollywood’s most statuesque stunner, Julie Newmar. She’s in the buff as she goes from smooching Gregory Peck to strangling Camilla Sparv, and then serves up more buns when she gets out of the water and runs off, all set to some dramatic orchestrations from Mr. Jones.

Another film at the close of the swingin’ 60s, this one has star Dustin Hoffman attending a party with Rita Bennett as its artsy centerpiece. She poses nude while having a movie projected on her bare pair, really putting the “can” in canvas.

Quincy really sets a 70s tone with this sequel to In the Heat of the Night, which starts off with Linda Towne’s tits and some very groovy tuneage.
