Every so often a nude scene gets paired with a song that, for better or worse, ends up making it that much more memorable, and this Tunes-day we’re paying tribute to songstress Roberta Flack, who passed away yesterday at age 88. Her music has been the backdrop of some notable nudity over the years, starting with her very first hit in the early 70s. Get ready, Skin fans, you’re about to get hit with a Flack attack!
After starting out as a nightclub singer and jazz pianist in Washington D.C., Flack recorded her first album First Take in 1969. But none of the singles gained much traction, that is, until 1971 when Clint Eastwood decided to use her cover of “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” in his film Play Misty For Me.

The sultry ballad played over Clint and Donna Mills getting freaky in the great outdoors, first by a waterfall, where we see her bare breasts smooshed against his chest, and then in the trees where the camera cuts to her ass in the grass. Not surprising, the song ended up topping the charts for six consecutive weeks, probably because hearing it made folks immediately think of the hills of Mills.

Skye Blue and Summer Cummings' Nude Lesbian Scene in Boogie Nights
Another cover on First Take was Flack’s version of the 60s protest song “Compared to What”. Film and nudity fanatics might recognize it as the song playing while busty beauties Skye Blue and Summer Cummings lezz out in the hot tub for Ricky Jay in 1997’s Boogie Nights. One might call this combo “thong lickin’ good!”

Alicia Witt in Her Bra in Two Weeks Notice
Yet another sexy situation enhanced by Flack’s music was seeing Alicia Witt scantily clad in the 2002 comedy Two Weeks Notice. Alicia’s amazing rack is overspilling in a strapless bra as she goes to grab some beers. Her strip chess game with Hugh Grant (accidentally interrupted by Sandra Bullock) is set to the tune of Roberta’s 1972 duet with Donny Hathaway “Where Is the Love?” The real question is “where are her clothes, and can the rest of what she’s wearing join them?”

These are just a few prime examples of times you’ll want to whack it to Flack!
