You’ve got to hand it to German filmmakers – they always seem to know how to up the gruesome factor in their projects! The thriller Schramm: Into the Mind of a Serial Killer (1993) doesn’t disappoint on the weirdness, and follows serial killer Schramm, or the “Lipstick Killer,” as he goes about executing his murderous schemes. Schramm’s MO is to bring women to his apartment, kill them, smear lipstick on their faces, have sex with their lifeless bods, and then sometimes chop them up and rearrange their body parts. Looks like we’ve got a Picasso on our hands! Schramm: Into the Mind of a Serial Killer is told through a series of flashbacks taking place as Schramm is about to die.
