Scarlett Johansson kicked off her 2017 with an interview with Playboy - one of our favorite sentences, as it were. Among an insightful and funny conversation about her edgy, badass roles, her immense and impressive salary, and her life since having her daughter, the topic of monogamy came up. ScarJo has spoken out about her stance on monogamy in the past, and the reporter (bless her) decided to clarify:

"Well, with every gain there’s a loss, right? So that’s a loss. You have to choose a path. I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it’s a beautiful idea, and the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing. I don’t think it’s natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think it’s work. It’s a lot of work. And the fact that it is such work for so many people—for everyone—the fact of that proves that it is not a natural thing. It’s something I have a lot of respect for and have participated in, but I think it definitely goes against some instinct to look beyond."

Scarlett has been married twice, once to Ryan Reynolds and once to French advertising exec Romain Dauriac. It's unclear whether or not either of these marriages has been open - can we get an interview on that?!?! - but this is intriguing, considering the state of sexuality in 2017. If this badass, beautiful woman is accepting more lovers, I would like to know.
