Samantha MacLachlan is the daughter of pioneering black actress Janet MacLachlan. Although she was born in L.A. and worked in the acting industry, Samantha didn't have as much success as her mother--although she did show more skin. But before she teased her chocolate treats in provocative projects, she started out on a 1995 episode of NYPD Blue, playing the one-off character "Chantal." Thankfully for her and us, Samantha moved up to the role of "Woman in Jail" in the feature-length biopic Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story (1996). However, she's not skinstitutionalized. Her career then in "upswing" mode, Samantha landed a part in Set It Off (1996) opposite the likes of Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, and Vivica A. Fox. Sadly, none of the aforementioned women show any intimate parts in the film, but the obscure Tamara Clatterbuck does, and Samantha comes awfully close with a sexy bethonged dance she does for the Queen. It’s a pretty decent flick to flick one's bean to, so be sure to check it out. Sammy stopped showing skin then, but she continued to captivate audiences with her clothes on in several productions. These include the shows JAG, Once and Again, and another episode of NYPD Blue, plus the movies Tear It Down (1997), Myopia (2001), and Hot Parts (2003). Samantha pretty much retired from acting in the early 2000s save for the short films Amused (2009) and Bebé (2017). Mr. Skin would do almost anything under the law to get this bebé to show her boobies.
