Review

S.W.A.T. (2003) is a pretty boneheaded flick — even by the already lowered standards for a movie based on a television series. Nevertheless, it still managed to spawn the direct-to-video sequels S.W.A.T.: Firefight (2011) and S.W.A.T.: Under Siege (2017). The action movie at hand follows the adventures of the elite team raging against French crime boss Alexander Montel (Olivier Martinez) who is offering $10 million dollars to anyone willing to help him escape from prison. Vying to keep him there are Sergeant II Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson), Officer III Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner), Officer III Deke Kaye (LL Cool J), Officer III Michael Boxer (Brian Van Holt), Officer III T.J.  McCabe (Josh Charles), and Officer III Jim Street (Colin Farrell). For his performance, the international star was nominated for Best Actor in a Lead Role from the Irish Film & Television Academy. If that’s not impressive enough, Colin picked up an MTV Movie Award Mexico. Of course, Mr. Skin has a statuette in his pants for Michelle Rodriguez. As Sanchez, the lusty Latina brings her typical streetwise sass (and built bod) to the role. But since this is a PG-13 rated movie, she can’t expose too much skin. However, Michelle sports a sports bra that shows off her firmly toned midriff. In another scene, the dark-haired doll parades her pokies via a skintight blue tank top. No wonder film critic Roger Ebert gave the movie thumbs up. Here at Skin Central, we’re raising another part of our anatomy for the movie!
