Biography

How’s Your Love Life? While Mr. Skin is, of course, interested in your personal well-being, he’s not actually making polite conversation with this query. Rather, it’s the name of the 1971 movie where ebony beauty Rosalind Miles made her entrée into the entertainment industry, via a character named Julie. She followed that up with an episode of the TV series Columbo in 1972, then hit it big by playing Arna Asby, paramour to John Shaft, in the blaxploitation flick Shaft’s Big Score! (1972) starring Richard Roundtree as the man himself. While the two lounge in bed, Rosalind shows off her beautiful ass and palm-sized twins. She does it again as Clorils Boston in Friday Foster (1975), with Pam Grier playing Friday alongside Eartha Kitt and Ted Lange, the bartender from The Love Boat. While Rosalind herself never went on the high seas, she did appear in quite a few primetime hits, including Starsky & Hutch, Baretta, and Here’s Lucy with Lucille Ball. That Love Life pic? That was an X-rated feature, but it was Rosalind’s only one. Her other big-screen adventures included playing Ceal in The Black 6 (1973), Erica in Girls for Rent (1974), and Mo in The Manhandlers (1974). The actress also appeared in a string of TV movies like Attack on Terror: The FBI vs. the Ku Klux Klan (1975), The Turning Point of Jim Malloy (1975), Benny and Barney: Las Vegas Undercover (1977), and her last project, playing Ida in To Kill a Cop (1978), starring Desi Arnaz Jr., who was also in Here’s Lucy. It’s who you know in Hollywood.
