Prime Evil (1988)

Great Nudity!

Review

A coven of maleficent monks sacrifices young women to Satan in Prime Evil (1989). Directed by the notorious Roberta Findlay, Prime Evil begins in the 13th Century and lands in '80s New York City, where it revels in all the big hair and gratuitous nudity the decade is known for. The nubile Jeanne Marie loses ger shirt during the Satanic festivities, and even though neither shows her Luci-fur, they're both hotter than Hell. Miriam Zucker also shows off her skin in a cult ritual scene at the 3 minute and 51 second mark. The film is clearly meant to be absurd and is mostly played for comedic value. A good portion of it, if not all, is silly humor and it works. William Beckwith is great as the head baddy, and Christine Moore is a presence that leaves us begging for more. It doesn't hurt that the whole thing is executed by the veteran seploitation legend Roberta Findlay who directed, shot, and edited this minor horror. It's got all the ingredients to make it watchable too, including a decently ominous atmosphere, good use of locations, decent gore, attractive girls, bare boobs, and some fairly believable acting. Even if the story doesn't hold the attention at all, Mr. Skin can almost guarantee that you'll be thoroughly engaged by the effortless hotness on display from the ladies in the flick. If only there was a bit more tits, ass, and bush, Skin Central would have maybe given put this one in the Nudity Hall of Fame. Nevertheless, it's prime masturbation fuel!
