A prime example of Italy's blood-drenched giallo horror genre, Passi di morte perduti nel buio (1977), a.k.a. Death Steps in the Dark, dares to insert humor into its lurid tale of a razor-murderer on the loose. After a beautiful girl is slashed to death on a train traveling from Istanbul to Athens, fashion photographer and fellow traveler Luciano Morelli (Leonard Mann) becomes the main suspect. Once he arrives in Greece, then, it's up to Luciano to pursue the real killer, whose gory handiwork continues to pile up the bodies. Be on the lookout for Italian eyeful Imelde Marani, best known for her nude work in Andy Warhol's Flesh for Frankenstein (1974), also revealing her naked talents in high style here.
