Out of Season (1998)

Set in Cape May, New Jersey, after the tourists have scattered back to their hidey-holes, Out of Season (1998) spins the tale of mondo lesbo Carol Monda, a wandering photographer who's rolled into town to take care of her old uncle Charlie, played by Dennis Fecteau. Cold-fish Carol isn't keen on the kin-caring gig, but when this lovely les-bean gets a glimpse of Joy Kelly, a local short-order cook and Devoted Dennis Friend, she finds herself becoming fond of the Cape May scene. Joy has a hunch that Carol isn't going to stay, though, and so she doesn't dive right in in search of a muff-nificent new thing—she's afraid of getting hurt again after a long-term relationship went south. Carol, meanwhile, just wants to get her mouth south of Joy's border . . . is that such a tall order? Cancerous old Dennis wheezes wisdom and referees this twosome as they spar and flirt; he'll get them to be good to each other or die trying. Okay, so he’s dying anyway. But before that day, can't his niece get a good lay?
