New Rose Hotel (1998)

If you’re going to tell a story about corporate intrigue, you better be using some dynamic actors to do it. And to keep us entertained, you'll need to throw in a few scenes with a smokeshow doing it! Director Abel Ferrara wisely brings in the big guns for New Rose Hotel (1998), with Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe playing two industrial spies. But don't worry, Abel doesn't neglect the sex! Based on a short story from cyberpunk master William Gibson, Walken is Fox and Dafoe is X. Both of these fellas live in a world that sees corporations hire spies and assassins to swipe and protect their employees, but the two specialize in getting scientists to switch what companies they work for. Their newest target is Dr. Hiroshi (Yoshitaka Amano), who is just about to crack the code on curing the common cold. Their plan it to use the high-class call girl Sandii (Asia Argento) to make the doc fall in love with her, so he'll work for the company closer to her home instead of the one he currently does. But Sandii drips sex, so soon enough the plan is falling apart thanks to X. He falls in love with her, and she begs him to ditch Fox and run away with her. But when you use girls that specialize in faking feelings for your own financial gain, how can you know you're not being played for a fool by your new girl? If you need a woman to make a man quit his job and follow her wherever she goes after just one date, Asia Argento should be your top candidate. We see her hooters while she straddles another woman in a bra that can't contain her bigums, while in the pool getting some extra benefits from her boss Willem Dafoe, and while lying in bed with another woman. Then there's a glimpse of her ass while she's in bed with Dafoe, making him fall in love with her via lovemaking. We'll gladly work for any business if it means getting busy with her!
