Success came early for Natasha Bassett. At the age of 14, the Sydney native landed the part of Juliet in the Australian Theatre for Young People’s production of Romeo and Juliet. From there she went on to study at the National Institute for Dramatic Art where Oscar winner Cate Blanchett was her instructor. Nat also trained at the Atlantic Acting School in New York City. Did we mention she won a screenwriting scholarship that allowed her to write and direct her own short film? Since moving to Los Angeles, the talented teen was cast in the NBC series Camp (2013) and in the Coen Brothers comedy Hail, Caesar! (2016) alongside A-listers Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, and Oscar winners Frances McDormand, George Clooney, and Tilda Swinton. Natasha also appeared in the indie flick Katie Says Goodbye (2016) with Academy Award winner Mary Steenburgen. But not before the ambitious ingénue starred in the MTV film Dungoona (2009). Titillating turns in Mental (2012) and The Last Goodbye (2013) followed, as did a revealing role in House by the Lake (2016). The chiller diller features Anne Dudek, Amiah Miller, and Ms. Bassett’s bikini cleavage! If that’s not arousing enough, the saucy Aussie portrayed Britney Spears in the Lifetime biopic Britney Ever After (2017).
